0. Ernest Miller announced at the beginning of the show that starting tomorrow night on Nitro and up to the Bash at the Beach, there will be a tournament with brand new talent to decide the first champions to a new WCW Title, the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship.
4. Ric tried to cheat to win but Harris was well aware of Flair's tactics, allow himself to overwhelm Flair.
5. Tammy tried to interfeir and help Candido win but was stopped by a lady in camo dukes, tanktop, & bullet strap on her shoulder. This gave Cajun the advantage to win.
7. Kidman was in control, taking advantage of Cena being a rookie. Cena though was able to counter the Kid Krusher with the Protoplex to win
8. Japan's The Great Muta returned to WCW as Sting's mystery partner, and sided with Vampiro at first, turning on Sting. However, as The Demon was about to put away Sting, Muta Double Turned and green misted The Demon. Vampiro bailed and left The Demon to become a victim to Muta's Legendary Moonsault.
9. The Misfits in Action did not accompany AWOL, AWOL wanting to face Jarrett alone. Jarrett & AWOL had a back and forth match but AWOL was able to put away the Lone Champion to become the new World Heavyweight Champion

June 7, 2000

1. WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Tournament: Crowbar & David Flair beat Frank Paris & Allen Styles
2. Harlem Heat 2000 (Stevie Ray & Big T) beat Tekno Team 2000 (Troy & Travis) when Big T pinned Travis via Tiger Bomb
3. John Cena beat Buff Bagwell via Protoplex
4. Tank Abbot & Jerry Flynn beat Ron & Don Harris when Abbot pinned Ron via Punch
5. Vampiro beat Terry Funk via Nail in the Coffin
6. General Rection, Sgt. AWOL, & Pvt. Stash beat Billy Kidman, Big Vito, & Johnny The Bull when Stash pinned Vito after a AWOL Chokeslam

2. Tekno Team 2000 made their debut(?) in WCW but were trouncly defeated by the leaner Harlem Heat 2000. After the match Tekno Team 2000 were approached by a Japanese Man with a Red Streak in his hair and were brought outside to a Bullet Train outside the arena, which sped off after they boarded.
5. Terry Funk was attacked after the match by men in masks, Ric Flair, Sting, & The Great Muta came down and cleared the ring. As Vampiro, The Demon, & the two masked men got to the staging, Vampiro removed their masks and revealed Shaggy 2 Dope & Violent J, the Insane Clown Posse.

3. Pvt. Stash (w/ MiA) beat Billy Kidman (w/ Filthy Animals) via Cobra Clutch Slam
4. Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Hare (w/ Thrillers) beat Big Vito & Johnny The Bull (w/ Filthy Animals) when O'Hare pinned Johnny via Seanton Bomb
