Mishima Pro Wrestling was formed back in 1994 under its founder, the controversial Heihachi Mishima. From its inception, Mishima Pro Wrestling became one of the more dominant promotions in the wrestling and fighting world. Perhaps the more controversial aspect of the promotion itself is the number of champions who've held the Mishima Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championships. The Championship itself remained in the possession of the likes Heihachi, his son and current owner Kazuya Mishima, and his grandson Jin Kazama, Mishima Pro Wrestling was rocked by the "retirement" of Heihachi back in June 2017, which led to a change of leadership and the inaugural Heihachi Mishima Memorial Tournament the next year, which was won by Kazuya. With a new era in full bloom, the curtain is pulled back for Mishima Pro Wrestling to redefine what strong style really means.

1. Takeda Takahashi and Kung Jin vs. Kano and Bryan Fury
The young lion duo of Takeda Takahashi and Kung Jin opened tonight's festivities against the sadistic duo of Kano and Bryan Fury. Despite being young lions, Takeda and Kung Jin were not afraid to go toe to toe against the brutal Kano and Fury. Both Kano and Fury used dirty, underhanded tactics throughout the match, mainly choking their opponents and landing cheap shots with foreign objects. Fury ended the match with a Brainbuster on Takeda to win the match in 10 minutes.
2. Shin Kamiya and Sean Matsuda vs. Dan Hibiki and Blanka
Another duo of young lions, Shin Kamiya and Sean Matsuda, took on the team of Mishima Pro Wrestling Openweight Champion Dan Hibiki and Blanka, who had a cult following of their own from the crowd, mainly for their comedic antics. Hibiki didn't take the young lion duo seriously throughout the match, which almost cost his team dearly as Kamiya and Matsuda were looking to secure a surprising victory. This led to Blanka getting the tag and taking matters into his own hands. The match ended with Blanka hitting a 450 Splash on Matsuda to secure the victory in 11 minutes.
3. Raphael Sorel, Noob Saibot, and Astaroth vs. Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, and Forest Law
Although the DRAGON stable is currently feuding with NEO SHADOWLAW, this doesn't stop Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law and Forest Law from doing whatever they want, such as the case for this match against Mishima-gun's Raphael Sorel, Noob Saibot, and Astaroth. The match started off in the usual Mishima-gun manner, a complete all-out brawl between the two teams with them having full control in the match early on. Marshall Law would tag in Paul Phoenix, who started off as a house of fire before getting clotheslined by Astaroth. After a double team from Raphael and Astaroth, Paul Phoenix made the hot tag to Forest Law, who came flying on all cylinders. Forest looked great in that sequence before Saibot spewed his trademark black mist in the eyes of the younger Law, followed by a roundhouse to secure the victory in 12 minutes.
4. Hwoarang and Steve Fox vs. Yoshimitsu and Ryu Hayabusa
The Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Tag Team Champions, Hwoarang and Steve Fox had their hands full and their heads on a swivel against Yoshimitsu and Ryu Hayabusa. The match started off in favor the champions, but the mind games and antics of Yoshimitsu and Hayabusa started to take over. From high flying attacks to technical counters, and even going as far as to using their opponents' signature finishers, Yoshimitsu and Hayabusa were getting in the heads of their opponents. The match ended with Hayabusa hitting a moonsault off the top rope on Fox to get the win in 12 minutes. After the match, Yoshimitsu issued a challenge to the Junior Tag champs for their gold at Dawn of Destruction.
5. Shang Tsung, Geras, and Shao Kahn vs. Fei Long, Jann Lee, and Raiden
DRAGON's trio of Fei Long, Jann Lee, and Raiden took on NEO SHADOWLAW's trio of Mishima Pro Wrestling Intercontinental Champion Shang Tsung, Geras, and Shao Kahn. Geras and Jann Lee started off the match, with Lee throwing hard punches and swift kicks, which hardly phased the stronger Geras, who responded with a front kick to the chest, followed by a sequence of power attacks. Geras then placed Jann Lee in a bearhug, only for Raiden to make the save. Geras tagged in Shao Kahn and immediately double teamed Raiden. Once Geras left, Shao Kahn continued to beat down Raiden even further. Raiden made the quick tag to Fei Long, but the referee didn't see it. Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung double teamed Raiden, leading to Shang Tsung continuing the attack. Raiden would get free and tagged in Fei Long, who came out charging and attacking Shao Kahn, Geras, and Shang Tsung. Fei Long would get the better of Shang Tsung with a dragon sleeper hold to get the victory in 20 minutes. Afterwards, Fei Long issued a challenge to Shang Tsung for the Mishima Pro Wrestling Intercontinental Championship. Shang Tsung accepted the challenge, followed by calling Fei Long an inferior version of Liu Kang.
6. Kilik vs. Adon
The junior heavyweights took center stage as Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kilik, took on the self proclaimed "God of Muay Thai" Adon. There were lots of high flying spots throughout the match, mixed with some striking from Adon and technical precision from Kilik. Adon looked like he was going to secure the victory but quickly got upended as Kilik caught him with a spinning heel kick, followed by a phoenix splash to get the victory in 10 minutes.
7. Liu Kang, Yang, Yun, and Kung Lao vs. M.Bison, F.A.N.G., Vega, and Balrog
The semi-main event saw an eight man tag match between DRAGON's Liu Kang, Yang and Yun of the Twin Dragons, and Kung Lao, taking on NEO SHADOWLAW's M.Bison, F.A.N.G., Vega, and Balrog. There was no love lost between these two teams, who all battled in last month's Heihachi Mishima Memorial with some varied results. NEO SHADOWLAW had the upper hand from the beginning, but DRAGON managed to turn the tide in their favor, thanks to Yang and Yun. DRAGON looked to put the match away, but underhanded tactics from NEO SHADOWLAW prevented such a victory from happening as Bison nailed the Psycho Driver on Kung Lao to secure the victory in 15 minutes.
8. Jin Kazama, Jax Briggs, and Johnny Cage vs. Kazuya Mishima, Bruce Irvin, and Sektor
The main event was a six man tag match between Kazama Army leader, Jin Kazama, teaming up with Jax Briggs and Johnny Cage, against Mishima-Gun's leader, Kazuya Mishima, and his cohorts, Bruce Irvin and Sektor. In usual Mishima-Gun fashion, the match started off with a brawl, but with Kazama Army getting the jump. Jin and Kazuya brawled all throughout the arena, while Jax and Bruce battled in the stands in front of the crowd, leaving Cage and Sektor to fight in the ring. Sektor had the upper hand over Cage, leading to Mishima-Gun to work over Cage. After Cage tagged in Briggs, momentum slowly shifted towards Kazama Army for a bit. Briggs looked to finish off Sektor, only for Bruce to make the save and battle it out with Jax. Jax easily overpowered Bruce, forcing Kazuya to tag himself in and wrest the dominance away from Kazama Army. It looked like Mishima-Gun was going to secure the victory, but Jax quickly tagged in Jin, forcing Kazuya to escape and tag in Sektor. Jin wasted no time unleashing his attacks on Sektor, leading up to a Kazama Cutter for the win in 25 minutes. Afterwards, Jin issued another challenge to Kazuya for the MPW Heavyweight Championship at Dawn of Destruction and proclaiming that he will be champion.
A good show from start to finish, although the six man tag match between Shang Tsung, Geras, and Shao Kahn vs. Fei Long, Jann Lee, and Raiden went a little long than expected.

1. Takeda Takahashi vs. Bryan Fury
Young Lion Takeda Takahashi had the misfortune of opening tonight's event in a match against the psychotic Bryan Fury. Fury brutalized and toyed with Takahashi, only for the young lion to make a comeback. Takahashi looked to get a win against Fury, only the psychotic brawler to furiously headbutt the young lion and putting him away with a DDT for the win in 7 minutes.
2. Sean Matsuda vs. Dan Hibiki
Another young lion, Sean Matsuda, looked to impress the crowd as he took on Mishima Pro Wrestling Openweight Champion, Dan Hibiki. Much like the last match, the veteran gained the upper hand early, only for the young lion to make a comeback. Unlike the last match, however, Matsuda managed to get a shocking upset when Hibiki was playing to the crowd and was blindsided by a roll up in 7 minutes. With this victory, Sean Matsuda is granted an opportunity to face Hibiki for the Mishima Pro Wrestling Openweight Championship at Dawn of Destruction.
3. Paul Phoenix and Forest Law vs. Noob Saibot and Astaroth
DRAGON stablemates Paul Phoenix and Forest Law, along with Marshall Law, seem to be doing whatever they want, while the rest of the stable are currently feuding with NEO SHADOWLAW, hence this tag team match against Noob Saibot and Astaroth of Mishima-Gun. Saibot and Astaroth wasted no time beating down Phoenix and Law, but the veteran Phoenix began fighting both Saibot and Astaroth by himself. Law took to the top rope and delivered a body splash, only to get caught by Astaroth with a fallaway slam and a Dominator to pick up the victory in 10 minutes.
4. Hwoarang and Steve Fox vs. Yoshimitsu and Ryu Hayabusa
The Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Tag Champs Hwoarang and Steve Fox sought retribution against their recent challengers for their gold in Yoshimitsu and Ryu Hayabusa. The match started off fast and fluid when Hwoarang and Yoshimitsu were in the ring, but slowed down a bit for a showcase of brawling and technical prowess from Fox and Hayabusa respectively. The closing moments of the match saw Hwoarang hit the Phoenix Splash on Yoshimitsu to get the win in 12 minutes.
5. Fei Long vs. Geras
In a match of David vs. Goliath proportions, Fei Long had the arduous task of facing the mighty Geras. During the match, Mishima Pro Wrestling Intercontinental Champion Shang Tsung was on commentary, discussing how much he detests Fei Long as a challenger. Geras no-sold every attack Fei Long threw at him, which was making him angry throughout the match. Geras went on the offense and beat down Fei Long relentlessly. Geras looked to put Fei Long away, but the Hong Kong action star quickly escaped the looming clutches of defeat as he surprised Geras with a German suplex, followed by a Falcon Arrow to get the win in 14 minutes.
6. Kilik vs. Voldo
Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kilik, took on the mysterious and bizarre Voldo. During the match, Kilik tried to play things straight, while Voldo was more dodgy with his wrestling holds. Voldo playing to the crowd cost him dearly as Kilik caught the flexible Voldo with a Tornado DDT and a Phoenix Splash to win the match in 10 minutes. After the match, Raphael Sorel attacked Kilik from behind and announced that he would challenge him for the Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship.
7. Liu Kang and Kung Lao vs. Balrog and M.Bison
The semi main-event was a rematch of sorts as DRAGON's Liu Kang and Kung Lao took on NEO SHADOWLAW's Balrog and M.Bison. Balrog and Kung Lao started the match, with Balrog taunting Kung Lao about how he took the loss for his team. Kung Lao responded with a dropkick, followed by a headscissors takedown. Kung Lao was in control of the match, until underhanded tactics from Balrog turned the tide in favor of his team. Once Bison entered the match, Kung Lao was taking a brutal beating. Kung Lao managed to get the tag, but the referee didn't see it. It looked like the match was just about over, but Kung Lao managed to get a tag in front of the referee as Liu Kang entered the ring like a man possessed. Liu Kang ended the match with a Dragon Rana on Balrog to get the win in 20 minutes.
8. Jin Kazama and Johnny Cage vs. Kazuya Mishima and Bruce Irvin
The main event saw Jin Kazama team up with Johnny Cage against Mishima Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, Kazuya Mishima and Bruce Irvin. Before the match could ever begin, a brawl took place, but it was Kazama and Cage who got the jump first. Cage and Irvin brawled throughout the stands while Kazama and Mishima tried their best to choke the other out. Johnny Cage and Bruce Irvin both return back to the ring to start the match. Cage was getting the upper hand, but Irvin used underhanded tactics, leading to Kazuya Mishima taking over the match. Mishima slapped and kicked Cage, as well as placing him in the sleeper hold. Kazuya toyed around with Cage, but the self-proclaimed "Hollywood A-Lister" managed to get the tag to Jin, who started beating down Kazuya. Kazuya scurried to tag Bruce Irvin, who also suffered some beatings. Jin looked like he was going to put Bruce away, but Kazuya took a steel chair to the back of Jin's head, while the referee was distracted by Sektor. Kazuya pinned Jin for the three count in 25 minutes. After the match, Kazuya grabbed a microphone as he towered over Jin and declared that at Dawn of Destruction, he will never defeat him.
Another good show with a few surprises, mainly young lion Sean Matsuda securing a victory over Dan Hibiki. Dawn of Destruction looks to be a great show.

1. Takeda Takahashi, Kung Jin, and Shin Kamiya vs. Bruce Irvin, Ganryu, and Sektor
The opening contest of the night saw a trio of young lions, Takeda Takahashi, Kung Jin, and Shin Kamiya, took on Mishima-Gun's trio of Bruce Irvin, Ganryu, and Sektor. Right from the opening bell, the Mishima-Gun trio attacked the young lions with much ferocity and ruthlessness, something that is always to be expected from the group. The young lions managed to make a comeback, only for it to halted by underhanded tactics from Sektor, leading to a big body splash from Ganryu to pin Kamiya for the win in 10 minutes.
2. Mishima Pro Wrestling Openweight Championship: Dan Hibiki (c) vs. Sean Matsuda
Young Lion Sean Matsuda earned himself an opportunity to win some gold after pinning Mishima Pro Wrestling Openweight Champion Dan Hibiki. As the match began, Hibiki wasted no time going after the young lion, who was quick enough to gain some near falls. Hibiki went for a big boot, only for Matsuda to rol under it and go for a schoolboy pin, but only getting a two-count. It looked as if Matsuda was going to be the first young lion since Jin Kazama to win some gold, but it was not to meant to be as Hibiki threw some pink dust into the eyes of Matsuda and rolled him up for a three count to retain the Mishima Pro Wrestling Openweight Championship in 11 minutes.
3. Hwoarang, Steve Fox, and Miguel Rojo Caballero vs. Balrog, Vega, and F.A.N.G.
The Junior Heavyweight tag team of Hwoarang and Steve Fox teamed up with the brash brawler Miguel Rojo Caballero, against NEO-SHADOWLAW's trio of Balrog, Vega, and F.A.N.G. Fox and Vega started the match off with some chain grappling, followed by some catch as catch can style wrestling. Both men were at a standstill, but an eye poke and rake from Vega turned the momentum in favor of his team. The high flying F.A.N.G. was tagged in and delivered a barrage of high flying dropkicks and attacks on Fox. F.A.N.G. tried to go for the pin, but each time, Fox kicked out. Fox tagged in Hwoarang, who delivered a quick succession of kicks and hurricanranas. Hwoarang looked ready to put F.A.N.G. away, but Balrog got the tag and came in charging at Hwoarang, who quickly leapt out of his way. Hwoarang looked to put Balrog down with a few kicks and quick attacks, but the powerful brawler powerslammed the fast Hwoarang to the canvas. Balrog viciously worked over Hwoarang for awhile, before he tagged in Miguel. Miguel came in like a house of fire, taking down anything that was in his way. Balrog tried to rush the taller Miguel, but to no avail. This forced Balrog to tag in F.A.N.G., who tried his best to take down Miguel, who delivered a spear and a brainbuster to get the win for his team in 20 minutes.
4. Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Tag Team Championship: Twin Dragons (Yang and Yun) vs. Yoshimitsu and Ryu Hayabusa
The Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Tag Team Championships were on the line as Yang and Yun, collectively known as the Twin Dragons, took on the challenge of Yoshimitsu and Ryu Hayabusa. The match was a clash of styles between the high-flying Yang and Yun and the surprisingly technical Yoshimitsu and Hayabusa. Throughout the match, it was a back and forth affair between the two teams, with near falls towards the middle of the match. Yoshimitsu looked to employ his poison mist, only for it to be countered with a Total Elimination from Yang and Yun. Yang took to the sky with Yang Time (Phoenix Splash) and Yun with an Asai Moonsault to get the win and retain their gold in 18 minutes. After the match, Hwoarang and Steve Fox marched down to the ring to issue a challenge for the Junior Tag Championships to the Twin Dragons, who accepted it.
5. Johnny Cage, Jax Briggs, and Kung Lao vs. Voldo, Bryan Fury, and Kano
Up next, was a six-man tag match between Kazama Army's Johnny Cage, Jax Briggs, and Kung Lao taking on Mishima-Gun's Voldo, Bryan Fury, and Kano. Both trios wasted no time attacking one another as a brawl ensued throughout the arena. Once order was restored, Cage and Fury were exchanging forearm shots at one another for a minute and a half, before Fury hit Cage with a spinebuster. Voldo was tagged in began doing some dodgy wrestling holds on Cage, causing him to tag in Kung Lao. Kung Lao out-maneuvered Voldo in an exchange of catch wrestling, leading to ankle lock. Voldo slips out of the hold and tags in Kano, who came flying at Kung Lao with a front dropkick, followed by a rolling senton, and front headlock. Kano was in control for a slight portion of the match, which led to Kung Lao tagging in Jax, who came charging at Kano with multiple lariats, a powerslam, and a few suplexes. Kano managed to escape Jax's wrath, tagging in Voldo. Voldo charged at Jax, who caught him with a spear and a dominator to get the win for his team in 20 minutes.
6. Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship: Kilik (c) vs. Raphael Sorel
The Mishima Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship was on the line as Kilik defended his title against the technically savant Raphael Sorel. The match began with some chain grappling and catch wrestling, with Kilik and Raphael exchanging stances on offense and defense. After the exchange was over, Sorel was on the offense with a few headlocks, leglocks, and joint manipulating submission holds. Kilik managed to escape and reach the ropes, but Raphael continued more of his offense. Raphael tried his hardest to make Kilik submit, but the resilient defending champion wasn't going to give in. Kilik escaped from a headlock, leading to a barrage of offense. Kilik managed to catch Raphael with a series of hurricanranas and tilt-a-whirl headscissor takedowns. Kilik caught Raphael with a Falcon Arrow, followed by a Phoenix Splash to pick up the victory and to retain the MPW Junior Heavyweight Championship in 18 minutes.
7. Mishima Pro Wrestling Intercontinental Championship: Shang Tsung (c) vs. Fei Long
We are treated to a small video promo hyping up the match between Shang Tsung and Fei Long for the Mishima Pro Wrestling Intercontinental Championship. Afterwards, we see Shang Tsung and Fei Long staring each other down for a minute, before Shang Tsung landed a forearm to Fei Long's face, followed by one back from his adversary. The exchange of forearms lasted for a minute, with Fei Long getting the upperhand, followed by hoisting Shang Tsung off the ground by his neck. Shang Tsung manages to free himself by raking Fei Long's eyes, followed by a dropkick. Shang Tsung then proceeds with a few leglocks to slow down Fei Long, more preferably, working over the knees. Shang Tsung's calculating yet methodical approach to wearing down Fei Long was working, up until Fei Long caught him with a spinning wheel kick. Fei Long looked to put Shang Tsung away with a Dragon Sleeper Hold, only for Shang Tsung to slip out of it and place the submission hold on him! It looked like Fei Long was fading fast as the referee looked on. The referee checked Fei Long's arm, raising it in the air, only for it to drop down once...twice...but the third time, Fei Long balled up his fist and managed to kick out of the hold and catching Shang Tsung with a dropkick. Fei Long gathered himself, despite knee pain from earlier in the match. Fei Long looked for a hurricanrana, only for Shang Tsung to surprise him with a powerbomb pin counter. Fei Long kicked out at 2. Shang Tsung looked to end the match with a Dragon Sleeper hold, but Fei Long reversed the hold and caught him with a Cross Rhodes, followed by putting on a Dragon Sleeper to win the match and become the new Mishima Pro Wrestling Intercontinental Champion in 25 minutes.
8. Mishima Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship: SAMURAI STRONG (Haohmaru and Mitsurugi) vs. Shao Kahn and Geras
Originally, it was advertised to be Balrog to team up with Geras to challenge SAMURAI STRONG for the Mishima Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship, but Shao Kahn took Balrog's place, preventing from doing any double duty. Much of the match saw Shao Kahn and Geras beat down on Haohmaru and Mitsurugi, but once Shao Kahn looked to use his patented warhammer, the referee intervened and discarded the weapon away from Shao Kahn. This allowed Haohmaru and Mitsurugi to even the odds. Haohmaru hit the Samurai Shocker (Death Valley Driver) on Shao Kahn, followed by Mitsurugi using a Shogun Splash (Frog Splash) on Geras to get the win and for SAMURAI STRONG to retain the MPW Tag Team gold in 20 minutes.
9. Liu Kang vs. M.Bison
The semi-main event of the night saw DRAGON leader Liu Kang, take on NEO-SHADOWLAW's leader M.Bison. This match was a head-on collision right from the start as Liu Kang and Bison went blow for blow and hold for hold. The stronger Bison took full control of the match, using an array of power moves on Liu Kang. Bison continued torturing Liu Kang, but he was playing to the crowd arrogantly. This prompted Liu Kang to make a comeback, only for Bison to swat him down with a spinebuster and an elbow drop. Bison was ready to put the match away with a Psycho Destroyer (S.T.O.), but Liu Kang managed to fight out of it and began his comeback, leading to a Dragonrana to get the win in 21 minutes.
10. Mishima Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship: Kazuya Mishima (c) vs. Jin Kazama
Before the match, we are treated to a short video of the lineage of the Mishima Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, held by Heihachi Mishima and the aforementioned men competing for the championship in the challenger Jin Kazama and defending champion Kazuya Mishima, followed by a video package highlighting Kazuya's dominance as MPW Heavyweight Champion and Jin's journey to reclaim the title he believes that he never lost. The match begins with a brawl throughout the arena for five minutes before heading back to the ring, where Kazuya continued his beat down on Jin. Kazuya dominated for much of the match, but Jin started making comebacks of his own. Jin looked ready to win the match, but Kazuya's underhanded tactics would come into play, allowing Kazuya to hit the Devil's Descent (Pumphandle slam brainbuster combo) to get the win and to retain the MPW Heavyweight Championship in 45 minutes. Members of Mishima-Gun entered the ring to celebrate with their leader as the young lions carried Jin to safety. Afterwards, the young lions were ordered to fetch Kazuya's iron throne. The young lions carried the heavy throne inside the ring, placing it in the middle of the ring and getting beat up by the other members of Mishima-Gun for their troubles. Kazuya sat on his throne and began to deliver his speech, only for it to be interrupted by Liu Kang and his DRAGON stable. A brawl between the two factions took place as the event came to a close.
Very good event. The highlight of the event was the MPW Intercontinental Championship. The two six men tag matches went a little longer than they should.
