FATHOM

*The story begins with a cruise ship, the SS Anne, being docked for the time being at the port of Summers in southwestern end of Eagleland. Enjoying their vacation away from the difficulties are a middle aged working class woman named Tessa Galloway, and her 8 year old daughter, Tracy Galloway. Tracy is busy building sand castle on the beach, when our story begins....*

Summers Beach

Tessa: Now don't wonder off too far, Tracy. Stay where I can see you, honey.

Tracy: Don't worry, I will, momma.

*Tracy continue to play in the sand and goes to get some water from the ocean, but then she sees something that isn't suppose to be there. Tracy then calls out to her momma....*

Tracy: MOMMA! I think you better come over here and see this!

*Tess now casually walks over to see what Tracy is looking at*

Tessa: What is it now, Tracy? What do you see?

*Tracy now points to what she sees and Tess sees what looks to be a an almost human like figure.....*

Tessa: OH MY GOSH! It's that person?!

Tracy: It looks like a little girl, momma? She's looks to be covered in nothing but seaweed too.

Tessa: Oh dear, me. Close your eyes, Tracy.

*Tess now bends down and checks on the little girl. She now says....*

Tessa: She's still alive...half-drowned.....but still alive. That's a relief. But how did she get here anyways?

Tracy: Maybe she was washed up from a boating accident or something. What are we gonna do, momma? We can't just leave her here.

Tessa: Oh dear, you are right.

Galloway Cabin - SS Anne

*An hour or two later.....*

Tessa: We are so lucky, the captain was nice enough to let use bring her aboard the ship.

Tracy: I know, momma. But what are we gonna do when we get back home?

Tessa: I just don't know, Tracy.

Tracy: Well we can't leave her to die or something. She could stay with us.

Tessa: NOW that is a quite the suggestion. But I don't think we could do that, Tracy.

Tracy: WHY NOT?! You're gonna dump her in an orphanage aren't you. That wouldn't help her situation. She needs a loving family, not a daycare.

Tess: *SIGH* Oh my gosh, you.....are.....right.

Tracy: So can we keep her?!

Tessa: .....yes.

Tracy: YAY! So what are we gonna call her. The captain said she doesn't even know her own name now.

Tessa: Yes, whatever happened to her, must have really traumatized her badly. Very strange, yet so sad too.

Tracy: I got it, momma!

Tessa: You got what?

Tracy: What to call her.

Tessa: What is that, dear.

Tracy: Let's call her.....Summers. Cause that's where she was found.

Tessa: I like that. Summers, it is.

Tracy: YAY!

Tessa: Not so loud, Tracy! You'll have to forgive her, she always gets a little too excited. Welcome to our family....Summers.

Re: FATHOM

*Our story now picks up about 10 years later,  Summers and Tracy are now seniors at Fourside High School in Fourside, Eagleland. Tracy has had a pretty normal unbringing. She has normal friends and lives a normal life. Summers however, has had it a little rough to say the least. She has no friends and doesn't fit in. She never has, in fact, as she has struggled for various reasons. She has bad motor skills for her age, and other disabilities including ADHD aznd dyslexia. She is also allergic to most food besides seafood. In fact, the only place she feels truely at home is at the beach or in the water. Cause in the water, it's a completely different ballgame. She is an excellent and fast swimmer. Now even the Junior Olympics Program for Eagleland has been recently evaluating her for their Swim Team. If she makes it, she could finally be somebody, anybody. This is where our story continues....*

Fourside High School Gymnasium - Pool Practice Area

Tracy: WOW, that's just awesome! How long were you underwater this time anyways?

Summers: Nearly 10 minutes. It's nothing really.

Tracy: NOTHING?! Damn Summers, u are a beast in the water. How you do you do it?

Summers: I don't know. The water is the only place, I feel truely at home. Everywhere else, I am just a loser and a nobody.

*Tracy now offers her hand to Summers, as she tells her....*

Tracy: You are not a loser, Summers. Loser don't get invited to tryouts for Junior Olympic Swim Team.

*Summers smiles as she takes Tracy's hand and gets out of the pool. She then tells Tracy as they walk off towards the changing rooms.....*

Summers: True, very true. But I just wish I could be somebody outside the water.

Tracy: You will, when u win that gold medal.

Summers: You are right.

Tracy: But right now, it's time for school. Let's go, we don't want to be late....again.

Summers: Okay, wait for me. I am gonna get ready to go.

Tracy: Alright. I'll be outside.

*Summers now gets ready to go to school, and a few minutes later, the two continue to walk down the sidewalk towards the school as they talk....*

Summers: I wish I could stay in the water all day long, instead coming to this place.

Tracy: I know how you feel, it's the same damn thing everyday. I mean look at this....

*A fight has already begun to break out outside the school and the cops rush in to break it up. Tracy just shakes her head in disgust and heads inside the school with Summers.*

Tracy: It's like High School: The Musical minus the musical part.

Summers: Tell me about it.

*A few hours after school, Summers met with the coach of the Eagleland Swim Team, Franky  Sharkton . Now Sharkton was a legendary swimmer in his days too. But even he now admits....*

Fourside High School Gymnasium - Pool Practice Area

Franky: I never have seen anyone like her before in my life.

Tracy: I know Mr. Sharkton, sir, she really is amazing.

Franky: Amazing doesn't do what she is justice. She is just, for a lack of a better word, perfect. The perfect swimmer.

*Franky now watches Summers go back underwater and stay there again. He now tells Tracy....*

Franky: And between you and me, she is gonna win that gold medal for Eagleland. But don't tell her I said that. Don't want to get her head filled with the crazy dreams of Olympic glory too early.

Tracy: I understand, sir. What do I tell her then.

Franky: Just tell her....she's made the team and that I'll be watching her very closely now. Can't have our best hope injured before the Games Qualifiers, can we?

Tracy: No, sir.

Franky: I'll see see yall around, I've got to go check on another hopeful now. Good luck.

Tracy: You too sir.

*Tracy now shakes hands with Franky, who then leaves. Tracy now rushes over to Summers, whom is still underwater. Tracy now walks over and tried to get Summers attention. She can't though. Tracy gets a little closer and tries again. No luck. A little closer and this time Tracy falls in the pool herself. But it does get Summers' undivided attention. Tracy now swims over to Summers and Summers tells her....*

Summers: What happened to you, Tracy?!

Tracy: Nevermind that, Summers. I've something big to tell you.

Summers: Tell me what?

Tracy: It's just that, I don't know how to tell you this now.

Summers: What is it?

Tracy: Nothing, I don't want to upset you.

*Summers now becomes sad and asks Tracy.....*

Summers: I didn't make the team, did I, Tracy?

*Tracy nods her head and tells Summers....*

Tracy: I am sorry, Summers. You didn't do good enough. Not good at all.

Summers: Oh well, shit happens I guess.

Tracy: Yes, shit happens, Summers. But not to you!

*Summers now looks up with widened eyes, as Tracy tells her.....*

Tracy: I am just kidding with you, Summers. Don't be so naive. You were perfect. YOU MADE THE TEAM!

Summers: Really?!

*Tracy smiles and nods her head. Summers now smiles and hugs Tracy. Summers now tells Tracy.....*

Summers: THIS IS BEST DAY EVER! Thanks for being there for me, Tracy!

Tracy: Hey, what are sisters for.

*Tracy now looks Summers in the eyes and tells her....*

Tracy: Just promise me one thing.

Summers: Anything!

Tracy: Win that gold medal.

Summers: Oh I will! I will!

Re: FATHOM

*Our story continues two months later, at the Olympic Games Qualifier Trials in Saturn City at the Aquatic Sports Arena. Summers is in the Quarter-Finals and has a very good chance of making it to the Finals. It's gonna be a dead heat race, that's for sure. Tessa and Tracy Galloway are there to cheer her on, along with Coach Franky Sharkton. Sharkton now tells Summers after she just won the Quarter-Finals Race easily.....*

Aquatic Sports Arena - Saturn City

Franky Sharkton: That's my girl. I am not gonna lie to you, Summers. You are my best hope for that gold medal.

Summers: Really coach?

Franky Sharkton: Yes, there is no doubt about it. You are the best swimmer I have ever come across in my entire 25 years in this sport.

Summers: Even yourself?

Franky Sharkton: Yes, even me. I'll see you early tomorrow for the big Semi-Finals Race. Good luck, not you will need it. Heh.

*Franky Sharkton now walks off as Tracy and Tess come over to congratulate Summers.....*

Tracy: Congratulations, Summers. Just two more races and you'll win this thing. Then it's off to Edo and the Summer Olympics!

Summers: I know. I am so nervous right now.

Tessa: Don't be honey. You'll do great. You always do.

Tracy: Yeah, this gonna be like taking candy for unsuspecting babies. Oh and I've got big news of my own to tell you too.

Tessa: Tracy, honey. Do you think this is the right time. I think you should wait till we get back to the hotel.

Tracy: Okay.

Summers: What's the news, Tracy? Come on, just tell me now.

Tracy: I better tell her now, mother.

Tessa: *sighs* As you wish. I am gonna go back to the hotel now.

Tracy: We'll catch up later.

Tessa: Now don't be too long.

*Tess now leaves, both Summers and Tracy inside, as she walks outside and towards the hotel. Tracy now tells Summers when she is gone....*

Tracy: Now Summers don't freak out, okay. You remember how I was in the ROTC program in High School.

Summers: Yeah, I remember. You joined because you wanted to impress your father, who is in the military, as well.

Tracy: Yeah, my father. *Pauses for a moment* Well anyways, right after you win those Olympic Games and we graduate from High School, I have decided to follow his footsteps and join the military as well.

Summers: WHAT?!

Tracy: Yes, I know it's a shocker for me too. But you inspired me.

Summers: I did?

Tracy: Yes you did. You going joining the Team Eagleland for the Olympic Games, representing our country. You inspired me to do the same in my own way. Plus, I want to try to meet and impress my father.

Summers: Oh wow. I am speechless. So are you gonna go into Eagleland Navy like dear old dad?

Tracy: Nope, I've never been as good as you in the water.

Summers: Tell me about it. But hey, not everybody in the family can be as adapted to water like I am.

Tracy: *laughs* Nobody is adapted to water as you are, Summers. I swear you are practically half-fish.

Summers: *laughs* I think you are more right than wrong about that, Tracy. So what branch are you gonna join then?

Tracy: I've thought about this long and hard. And I am too. I am gonna join the Eagleland Air Force.

Summers: WHOA! That's literally exact opposite of the Navy.

Tracy: I know right. But I do feel like I was born to fly. It feels so natural to me.

Summers: Opposite of me too, I hate flying and being anywhere near an airplane.

Tracy: I know, I know. But maybe someday, I'll be stationed with a unit that's near my father's.

Summers: That would be so cool too. But first you've gonna pass the AFAB (Armed Forces Aptitude Battery).

Tracy: And I've already signed up for it. As soon as you ACE this Olympic Qualifier, I am gonna ACE that test.

Summers: Damn right, you are! Come on, let's go back to the hotel, we've got alot more to discuss and talk about.

Tracy: Right behind you.

*The scene now fades out to a close as the two sisters leave together to catch with Tracy's mother, Tessa, at the hotel.*

Re: FATHOM

*Our story continues the next day with Summers having already won the Semi-Finals race with relative ease. She is now prepping for the Finals later that evening. Her coach, Franky Sharkton, is now talking with her in locker rooms of the Aquatic Sports Arena......*

Locker Rooms at the Aquatic Sports Arena- Saturn City

Franky Sharkton: You did great out there, kid.

Summers: You think so, coach.

Franky Sharkton: I know so. As I said before, you are the best I've seen in 25 years.

Summers: I am not the best yet, cause I still have to win that gold medal for Team Eagleland.

Franky Sharkton: And you will. *Thinks for a moment* So kid, I've got a off-topic question for you.

Summers: Then shoot away, coach.

Franky Sharkton: What are your plans after the Olympic Games in Edo?

Summers: What do you mean by that, coach?

Franky Sharkton: What I mean is, after you win that gold medal, what's next in the life of Summers Galloway?

Summers: Ohhhh *Thinks for a moment* You know, nobody's never really asked me that before. I guess we've all been so pre-occupied with the Olympic Games to discuss any thing else.

Franky Sharkton: I figured as much. And if that is the case, did you ever think of joining the military?

Summers: Funny, you should ask, cause ever since Tracy informed me she is going into the Air Force, I have started to give it some serious thought over the last 24 hours. Why do you ask?

Franky Sharkton: Cause I think you'd be the perfect candidate for the Navy SEALs. Especially their newly commissioned Deep Sea Reconissance Team.

Summers: The SEALs?! NO WAY!

Franky Sharkton: Way.

Summers: Why do you think that I would have a chance at joining the Navy SEALs coach?

Franky Sharkton: Cause I was a Navy SEAL myself. And I know the talent that it takes to make it. And to be flat out honest with you, Summers, you are that talent.

Summers: That would be so cool.

Frank Sharkton: Very cool. But it is no walk in the park either, Summers. It would take alot of hard work.

Summers: I know that. But come on coach, it can't be harder than trying to win the gold medal at the Summer Olympics.

Franky Sharkton: HA! That's what I love about you, Summers. So full of confidence. But hey, let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Cause it's just something think about in the future.

Summers: I will, coach, I will.

Franky Sharkton: Excellent. But right now, we have an Olympic Qualifier Finals to win.

Summers: So let's go win it already!

Franky Sharkton: That's my girl. Let's do it!

*Summers and Franky Sharkton now leave the locker room and head out to the Aquatic Sports Arena for the Olympic Qualifier Finals. *

Aquatic Sports Arena - Saturn City

*Summers and Franky Sharkton now meet up with Tessa and Tracy Galloway in the Aquatic Sports Arena right before the big Olympic Qualifier Finals. As Tessa and Franky now talk with each other, a smiling Summers now greets a startled Tracy, who asks her....*

Tracy: And why are you grinning like a Cheshire Cat all of sudden?

Summers: *Speaking softly* Asking me after the Finals, I have something very interesting to tell you that Franky just told me.

Tracy: Oh my, that can't be good.

Summers: It is.

Tracy: If you say so.

Summers: I DO say so. It just that.......

Tessa: SUMMERS! THEY ARE STARTING THE RACE!

Summers: OH SH...CRAP! *Runs off to get in line for the race*

Tracy: GOOD LUCK!

Summers: THANKS!

*Summers now takes her place at starting point of the race, with other 9 Finalists. Franky Sharkton now tells as she does.....*

Franky Sharkton: You're killing me, kid! You almost blew the race without even starting it.

Summers: Sorry, coach.

Franky Sharkton: Don't be sorry, just WIN this damn thing.

Summers: I will.

Franky Sharkton: That's my girl. Good luck. *Walks off*

Summers: Thanks, coach.

*The Olympic Qualifier Finals race now starts with Summers seemingly lagging a little behind at first. But eventually Summers takes the lead with a sudden burst of adrenaline and high speed swimming to easily win the race. We now fade out to close as the crowd, including Tessa and Tracy Galloway along with Franky Sharkton, cheer loudly in the background.*

Re: FATHOM

*Our story continues with the Olympic Qualifer Medal Ceremony now commences with Summers being handed her gold medal. It's not the real Olympic deal that she really wants though. But that is gonna be next, when she wins the Summer Olympic Games in Edo, of course. After the ceremony, Franky Sharkton, along with Tessa and Tracy Galloway, all celebrate with Summers....*

Medal Ceremony at the Aquatic Sports Arena - Saturn City

Franky Sharkton: THAT'S MY GIRL! I knew you could do it kid, congratulations.

Summers: Thanks, coach. I couldn't have done it without your training and support either.

Franky Sharkton: Heh, you're just being modest. I think you could have won this easily even without the proper training. Hell, I think everybody in Eagleland now knows who is gonna win that gold medal in Edo for us. And I am looking at her right now. *Points at Summers*

Summers: Damn, coach. You're gonna make me cry even more right now.

Franky Sharkton: Cry all you want, kid. You deserve this moment. And just between you and me, after watching you win that race so easily like that, now I know for sure that you are Navy SEAL material.

Sumnmers: Navy SEALs, right.

Franky Sharkton: Just something to think about for the future, kid. But for now enjoy your Olympic Qualifier victory. Cause in a month or so, it'll be time to start the hard stuff.

Summers: The hard stuff?

Franky Sharkton: *Thinks for a moment* Well it's more like moderately difficult stuff for you.

Summers: True. See you around, coach, and thanks for everything.

Franky Sharkton: No, thank you. See you around.

*Summers and Franky Sharkton now embrace in a hug for a good minute. Franky then leaves to check on the rest of the Eagleland Swim Team, while Tesssa and Tracy Galloway now walk up to congratulate Summers, as well. Tracy now tells her...*

Tracy: HEY, GIRL! That's a prety sweet medal you got there, Summers.

Summers: Heh, thanks, Tracy. But now I really want the real deal in Edo even more now.

Tracy: And you're gonna get it easily, there is no doubts in my mind now. I mean you were freakin' amazing. Especially in that last lap. I've never seen anything like it.

Summers: Thanks, Tracy. You're just saying that.

Tracy: NO WAY! I really mean it. You are like...

Summers: OH GOD! DON'T DO IT, TRACY! Not in front of EVERYBODY!

Tracy: *Singing* THE BEST AROOOOOUND! AND NOTHING IS EVER GONNA KEEP YOU DOOOOOOOWN!

Tessa: TRACY GALLOWAY!

Tracy: *Stops singing* Yes.....mother.

Tessa: You are EMBARRASSING Summers. In front of the entire Eagleland Swim Team too.

Tracy: Sorry, Summers. I just got a little too excited and happy for you that's all.

Summers: It's okay, Tracy. With you around, I am use to it.

Tracy: Hey, that is what family is here for.

*Both Summers and Tracy now embrace in a hug as Tessa looks on proudly. Tessa now sees Franky Sharkton motioning for her to come over and begins to walk over towards him, as Summers now tells Tracy......*

Summers: And you may be around with me alot longer than you originally thought too.

Tracy: Whatever do you mean, Summers?

Summers: You'll find out very soon.

Tracy: Oh dear.

*Tracy now glances back to check to see if her mom isn't paying attention. It now seems like Tessa Galloway is busy talking to Franky Sharkton. With that, Tracy then asks Summers quietly....*

Tracy: *Whispering* Does this have anything do with what I overheard you and Mr. Sharkton talking about? *Thinks for a moment* Something about joining the Navy SEALs, I think?

Summers: *Whispers* Maybe. Just don't let your mom know until it officially happens.

Tracy: *Whispers* Alrighty then, it's your funeral, Summers.

*Tracy now glances to see her mom coming back over towards them. Tracy now tells Summers....*

Tracy: As I was saying before, Summers, you are gonna win that gold medal in Edo. I have never seen anybody move like you do in the water.

Tessa: Yeah honey, I've never seen someone move so fast in my life. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were not even there. Like you became one with the water or something. It was so awesome and awe inspiring.

Tracy: SEE! I told you so, mother. She is one of a freakin' kind.

Summers: *Blushes* Awww, shucks.

Tessa: It's the truth, Summers. Hell, even I could already tell you that.

Summers: Really?

Tessa: Oh yes, cause from the moment I first saw you on that beach in Summers, I knew you were special, Summers.

Summers: Special?

Tess: Yes dear. Very special indeed. Congratulations, nothing can stop you now.

Summers: I surely hope not.

Tessa: Not even the Navy SEALs.

Summers: WHAAAAAT?! How did you find out about that?

Tessa: Let's just say we both have friends in higher places.

Summers: *Thinks for a moment* You mean Coach Sharkton.

Tessa: Yes. And he just told me all about it. So I....

Summers: I think can do it. *Thinks for a moment* NO! I know I can do it.

Tessa: Then do it.

Summers: Huh?

Tessa: Look Summers, you are a grown woman now. If you want to be a Navy SEAL just like Tracy's father was, I am not gonna stop you.

Summers: Tracy's father was a Navy SEAL?

Tracy: Yes, he was. One of the best ever, in fact.

Tessa: *Thinks for a moment* Still is, I think. Anyways, if that's what you want to do with the rest of your life. I'd say go for it.

Tracy: Me too. Cause if anybody can live up to my dad's reputation as a Navy SEAL, I think you can. Somebody has to.

Tessa: Not now, Tracy. This is not the place or time to discuss that topic.

Tracy: FINE! I'm just gonna leave now. I'll see you both outside at the car. *Walks off.*

Summers: TRACY! DON'T LEAVE YET! TRACY!

Tessa: Let her go Summers, that subject of her father and the Navy SEALs isn't a pretty one.

Summers: Gee, I hope it wasn't the prospect of me joining them that set her off like that.

Tessa: No, it's more personal than that, I am afraid. But Tracy just needs time alone to cool off.

Summers: I understand. So about me joining the Navy SEALs.

Tessa: As I said earlier, if that's really what you want, then go for it. Personally, I think you would be the perfect fit for it.

Summers: That's exactly what Coach Sharkton told me.

Tessa: Well, he knows his stuff when it comes to the Navy SEALs. He was with them at the same time as Tracy's father.

Summers: Really?

Tessa: Yes. He told me he sees alot of him in you. Sadly, I can't help but agree with him, 100 percent.

Summers: WOW! It really means alot to me that I've got your blessing now too.

Tessa: You do have it. Just promise me one thing in return?

Summers: Anything.

Tessa: Before you run off to join the Navy SEALs, win that Olympic gold medal in Edo for your family and Team Eagleland.

Summers: I don't just promise you that. I guarantee it.

Tessa: Good, cause like you said, NOTHING can stop you now.

Summers: I know. Thanks for everything....mom.

*Summers now embraces to startled Tessa Galloway in a hug. Tessa now smiles and she embraces Summers with all her might, as we fade out to a close from there.

Re: FATHOM

*Our story now continues one week later after the Olympic Qualifiers back at the Galloway Household in Fourside. Tracy is shown getting ready to leave and go take the Armed Forces Aptitude Battery or AFAB later that day. Summers now tells Tracy....*

Galloway Household - Fourside

Summers: Hey, Tracy?

Tracy: Oh hi, Summers. What's up?

Summers: You're looking a little nervous right now?

Tracy: Am I?

Summers: Yeah, you do. Are you worried about taking the AFAB?

Tracy: Not at all.

Summers: Oh come one, Tracy, I know you better than that.

Tracy: You're right, Summers, you do. And yes, I am nervous about it.

Summers: Why?

Tracy: I don't know. Maybe I am afraid.

Summers: Afraid? That's just silly. You're gonna ace that test.

Tracy: I am not worried about that. It's something else.

Summers: Like what?

Tracy: It's......complicated, Summers.

Summers: This about your father isn't it?

Tracy: What about my father?

Summers: Nothing. From what I've been told you're father is one of the most decorated Navy SEALs in history.

Tracy: That's what everybody keeps telling me.

Summers: Well that's a HUGE legacy to live up to. And....

Tracy: And you don't think I can live up to it, is that it?

Summer: WHAT?! I mean NO! I think you can and will. But I can see how much pressure that would put on somebody's shoulders.

Tracy: PRESSURE?! Pardon me, Summers, but what in the hell would you know about pressure?

Summers: Well.....I do kinda have the weight of the entire country on my shoulders to win the gold medal in Edo.

Tracy: Heh, true. I can not argue with that. And yes, I do feel the pressure of my father's legacy. All I've ever heard about him is how much of a big deal he is in military and I've always wanted live up those expectations. So yeah, I am little nervous about that.

Summers: Well don't be. Just be yourself and you do great, like you always do. I believe in you, Tracy.

Tracy: And I believe in you. I know you are gonna win that gold medal.

Summers: Thanks. Nothing is gonna stop me now.

Tracy: And nothing will stop me either. Not even the AFAB!

Summers: Awesome. Good luck.

Tracy: You too.

*Tracy now opens the front door to leave the house, but is startled to see a distraught looking Franky Sharkton standing there. Tracy now says....*

Tracy: Mr. Sharkton?

Franky: Hello, Tracy. Is Summers home? I really need to talk to her.

Tracy: Um, she's......

*Summers now rushes to the door and tells Franky....*

Summers: I am right here, coach.

Franky: Summers, I....

Summers: What's wrong, coach?

Franky: I don't know how to tell you this, Summers.

Summers: Tell me what?

Franky: I....um.....here. This is for you.

*Franky now hands Summers a letter addressed to her from the IOC (International Olympic Committee). Summers now takes the letter and tells Franky.....*

Summers: THE IOC?! What is this all about, Franky?

Franky: I can't tell you, kid. Just read the letter. And know I am so sorry about this, I really am.

*Summers now opens the envelope nervously and begins to read the letter silently as Franky and Tracy look on. A few moments pass before Summers says out loud.....*

Summers: OH NO! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS!

Tracy: What's the matter, Summers? What happened?

Summers: I've.....I've been disqualified by the IOC!

Tracy: WHAT?!

Summers: Yeah, they've disqualified me cause they found abnormalities in my urine and blood work. They say I cheated to win the Finals.

Tracy: Oh, that's some bullshit!

Franky: I completely agree. And it's not even for steroids or anything of that nature. It's for something else. Something they couldn't explain or figure out.

Tracy: What does that even mean. Like they found something unique inside of her.

Franky: Exactly. And because they can't figure it out, they still disqualified her. Didn't want to risk having some bizarre controversy on the Olympic Stage.

Tracy: What a bunch of cowards.

Franky: Tell me about it.

Summers: And not only that, it also says that I've been kicked off the Eagleland Swim Team, as well.

Franky: And there is nothing we can do about it either. I didn't like that stance one bit, myself. In fact, I quit the team and walked out in protest.

Summers: WHAT?! But why would you do that?

Franky: Because I meant what I said before, you were our best hope to the win that gold medal. Without you, I want no part of that team anymore.

Tracy: And there is really nothing we do to fight this?

Summers: Nope, it says the IOC's decision is final. So that means, I will never win that gold medal. I am just one big failure at this point.

Tracy: No, you are not!

Franky: Damn right, she's not. She's still the best damn swimmer I've seen in the last 25 years. Nothing is gonna change that, not even some bullshit blood test.

Tracy: Exactly. Cause we all know that you would have won easily. They just can't ever seem to accept the fact that some people are just naturally gifted at certain things.

Franky: Damn straight. Couldn't have said it better myself, Tracy.

Summers: And you are right, Tracy. Thanks you for always being there for me.

Tracy: I will always be there for you, no matter what happens.

*Both girls now embrace in a hug, as Franky looks on proudly. After a moment, Franky now asks Summers.....*

Franky: So Summers, what are you gonna do now that you can't win the gold medal?

Summers: I just don't know anymore.

Franky: I see. And Tracy, I take it you are still gonna go take the AFAB today?

Tracy: I don't know now, sir.

Summers: Oh please don't quit cause of my failures, Tracy. Follow your dreams for both of us. Promise me, you will.

Tracy: I.....promise. And you have promise me that you will find something else to do with yours and never give up.

Summers: Oh I will, I promise.

Franky: What about taking the AFAB with Tracy and joining the Navy SEALs?

Summers: You really think they will let me in after all this with the IOC.

Franky: Screw the IOC! Besides, the Navy SEALs don't care about the IOC. They care about recruiting the best of the best. And that's you, Summers.

Summers: Even with my "tainted" blood work?

Franky: That's nothing important. As far as I am concerned, you are still clean and in perfect natural health. And if it worries you that much, I'll make a few calls to the right people and make sure you get in, no questions asked. How's that sound?

Summers: That's sounds great, coach.

Franky: Just promise me one thing, Summers.

Summers: Anything.

Franky: Always be yourself and never change, not even for second.

Summers: I promise.

Franky: Excellent. So how about I drop you two off for AFAB before I head out.

Summers: That's sounds great. Tracy?

Tracy: Sure. Let's go do this thing together, like we always do.

Summers: Yeah, life works out mysteriously like that.

Tracy: And always for the better.

Summers: Always.

*Summers and Tracy Galloway now leave with Franky Sharkton to go take the AFAB in downtown Fourside. Unknown to all three of them, Tessa Galloway has been listen to their conversation from the kitchen of the house. She walks into the living room and picks the letter up off the coffee table in center of the room. She now walks into the master bedroom in the back of the house and sets the letter on top of the dresser in the room. She now opens the top drawer and pulls out a small ornate box. She now sits on the master bed as she opens the box. She now looks inside and sighs as she stares at the object inside it. She now says to herself.....*

Tessa: I guess it's time to tell Summers the truth, isn't it?

*The scene now fades out to a final close from there*

Re: FATHOM

*Our story continues a few hours later with Summers and Tracy Galloway being dropped off at the Galloway Household by Franky Sharkton after taking the AFAB in downtown Fourside. Franky Sharkton now tells both girls as they leave.....*

Driveway of the Galloway Household - Fourside

Franky: You girls just KILLED that AFAB!

Summers & Tracy: Thanks.

Franky: Especially you, Summers. I knew you would.

Tracy: Yes, you had nothing to worry about, you are going to be such a natural Navy SEAL.

Summers: Thanks, Tracy. You really think I am natural!

Franky: HELL YES! You are a natural. And so are you Tracy, I can already see you becoming an ace fighter pilot.

Tracy: Thanks, Mr. Sharkton.

Franky: Hey, don't mention it. I just know the goods when I see the goods. And you two have them. Oh and don't worry about the minor details, Summers. As I said before, I'll pull some strings and get you into the Navy SEAL trials.

Summers: Thank you for everything, Franky.

Franky: Don't mention it, it's the very least I can do. Just promise me one thing.

Summers: Anything.

Franky: Be the best SEAL you can be, when you make it.

Summers: I will. I promise.

Franky: Excellent. I'll talk to you two later. I have a feeling we'll be seeing each other alot more in the very near future.

*Franky Sharkton now backs his car out of the driveway and begins to leave as Tracy and Summers watch him do so. Tracy now asks Summers as they make their way into the house.....*

Tracy: Man, what was that all about at the end?

Summers: What do you mean, Tracy?

Tracy: I mean, Mr. Sharkton was acting little strange.

Summers: Heh, Franky is always like that, Tracy. Especially when he's super excited about something.

Tracy: Yeah, I guess you are right.

*Tracy and Summers now enter the house and walking into living room. They are now a little startled to see Tessa Galloway sitting on the couch with a small ornate box in her lap. She now tells both of them.....*

Living Room of the Galloway Household - Fourside

Tessa: Hello ladies, how did the AFAB go?

Summers: It went very well.

Tracy: Yeah, mom. We aced that test easily. Everything is going just like we planned.

Tessa: That's good. And now that both of you are moving on to the next phase of your young lives, I think it's time for all three of us to have much needed heart to heart talk.

Summers: About what?

Tessa: Things I should have told you a long time ago. But I didn't.

Summers: What do you mean? What are you trying to tell me?

Tessa: The truth, Summers. You need to hear the truth from me before somebody else finds out.

Summers: The truth? I don't understand.

Tracy: Neither do I. And I don't think I want too. I am just gonna leave the room.

Tessa: No, Tracy. I need you to hear this too. Cause this concerns you as well. Now more than ever I am afraid.

Tracy: Ok. I understand.

Summers: But I still don't. So please try to make me understand.

Tessa: I am trying too, Summers. But there is no easy way for me to you tell this, Summers.

Summers: Just tell me, mom.

Tessa: Alright, so how far can you remember back as a little girl?

Summers: Uh, I don't really know. I can remember waking up in the cabin on the SS Anne.

Tracy: I remember that day too. That was the day our lives changed forever as you became part of our family.

Tessa: Yes. But you were both 8 years old. Can you remember anything before that day, Summers?

Summers: No. There's nothing before that. I can't remember anything.

Tessa: Ah, I figured, as much. I remember that day very vividly too. I remember finding a little girl covered in seaweed from head to toe, laying on the beach. And I also remember finding.....

*Tessa Galloway now opens the box and pulls out something from it. She now shows it to Summers and Tracy. It appears to a be a necklace of some kind with a shiny metallica looking piece of black onyx in the shape of a long pointy arrow head at the end of it.*

Tessa: This.

Summers: It's beautiful. What is it?

Tessa: I do not know. It was found around your neck that day. So it belongs to you.

*Tessa now hands the necklace to Summers. Both her and Tracy just look at it for a few moments. Tracy then tells Summers.....*

Tracy: Well put it on, Summers. It may not be an Olympic Gold Medal, but it's still yours.

Summers: I think....I think....I think it's better than any gold medal could ever be. Thanks, mom.

Tessa: No thank you Summers, thank you for being part of our lives.

*Tears now begin to slowly roll down the eyes of Summers as she puts on the necklace. After a few moments, the necklace begins to glow in a blue silvery light, startling both Tracy and Summers. Tessa however just sits back and smiles ever more as the scene fades to a close from there.*

Re: FATHOM

*Our story now continues with a very different scenario playing out. Instead of it still being in the Galloway household, it now appears to be deep underwater in the ocean somewhere. Various aquatic wildlife is now shown swimming by, as Summers Galloway is now shown swimming in a school of multiple fish of different types and sizes. Suddenly, an hand from unknown origin reaches out towards to Summers, causing the scene to end abruptly.*

Living Room of the Galloway Household - Fourside

*Summers Galloway is now shown laying on the living room floor, pillow under her head. Her eyes now suddenly open again and she slowly begins to regain consciousness, with Tessa and Tracy standing over her. Tracy now kneels down to inspect Summers and tells her mother...*

Tracy: I think she's finally waking back up, momma.

Tessa: Well, that's good to hear. Give her some space, Tracy. Let her regain her composure.

Tracy: Oh, right. Sure thing.

*Summers now sits up from the floor to see Tracy and Tessa, standing there. Confused by the situation, she now asks to them both....*

Summers: What just happened?

Tracy: You passed out.

Summers: Passed out?

Tessa: Yes, right after you put your necklace on, you loss consciousness.

*Summers now mouths "my necklace" and now clutches the onyx pendant around her neck with her right hand. She now asks them....*

Summers: My necklace caused me to pass out?

Tessa: Yes, it did.

Summers: Wow. I mean, ow. *groans in pain* My head hurts.

*Summers now rubs her head with her left hand as Tracy tells her....*

Tracy: Well you did hit your head on the wood floor pretty hard when you passed out. So you might have a concussion.

Summers: Well that would explain the strange dream I was having then.

Tracy: Maybe. But I don't think it....

*Tessa now interrupts her daughter and asks Summers all of sudden....*

Tessa: Dream? What dream?

Summers: It was nothing much.

Tessa: Oh, I think it was something.

Summers: Really?

Tessa: Yes, I believe so.

Tracy: Yeah, mom is right. I think this all might be connected somehow too.

Summers: If you say so.

Tessa: We do. *nods her head in agreement* And Tracy is correct. This is all connected for sure. So please tell your family what that dream was about?

Summers: Okay. I was dreaming that I was swimming.

Tracy: Well that's not strange at all. Especially not for you.

Summers: I was swimming underwater in the middle of ocean.

Tracy: Oh.....

Summers: With a bunch of fish and other aquatic life.

Tracy: Ok. Now THAT is a little strange.

Summers: That's not the strange part to me. Cause it didn't feel like a dream at all. It felt like it was almost....

Tessa: Real.

Summers: That's right, mom. It felt real. More real than anything I have ever felt before.

Tessa: That's because it was real, Summers.

Summers: What do you mean, mom?

Tessa: What I mean is that it wasn't a dream at all. It was your memory. I think it's starting to come back to you now.

Summers: So you mean I....

Tessa: Came from the depths of the ocean.

Summers: NO WAY!

Tessa: Yes way.

*Summers now shakes her head in disbelief and now says to herself out loud as she continues to clutch the pendant tightly.....*

Summers: I don't believe this is happening to me.

Tracy: Well I do.

*Tracy,  who has been silent this whole time and looking out the living window towards the distant ocean, since the revelation, now tells her sister....*

Tracy: It's the only logical conclusion one can make at this point. It also explains alot about you, Summers.

Summers: If you say so.

Tracy: I do say so. Cause face it, Summers, you've never been normal by human standards.

Summers: So you saying I am some sort of abnormal freak?

Tracy: NEVER! There is only one thing you will always be to me, Summers.

Summers: And what's that?

*Tracy now rushes over to Summers, kneels down in front of her, and tells her seriously.....*

Tracy: My sister. And nothing, I repeat NOTHING, is ever gonna change that.

Summers: Thank you.

*The two sisters now embrace in a hug for a few moments before Tessa interrupts them by clearing her throat. They now stop and look up at her, while still kneeling on the floor....*

Tessa: I hate to interrupt this touching moment, but it's time to get serious.

Tracy: Right.

*Tracy now stands back up. She now offers her hand to Summers and tells her....*

Tracy: Need a hand?

*Summers' memory now flashes before her eyes again to the same vision of the hand reaching out for her. But she immediately snaps back into the reality and slowly stands back up on her own as she tells Tracy....*

Summers: I'm fine. I've got this.

*Tracy just smiles and lets Summers get up on her own in response. Both now turn to face their mother, Tessa, who tells them both.....*

Tessa: Look at you two, always looking out for each other. I couldn't be more proud of you both.

*Both sisters now nod their head in agreement as Tessa now tells them more seriously again....*

Tessa: But as I said before, that bond is about to be tested even more than ever before.

Summers: What do you mean, mom.

Tessa: Well for starters, not everybody is gonna accept you so willingly for whatever you are, Summers. You do understand this, right?

Summers: I think so.

Tessa: Good, because you must not tell anybody outside of our family. The consequences of such actions could be dangerous to point of life threatening.

Summers: I understand.

Tracy: And I won't let that happen. Not now, not ever.

Tessa: That's good, Tracy. Cause you must now protect her no matter what.

Tracy: Don't worry, momma. I got this.

*Summers, whom is now upset by this notion, now yells out at both of them....*

Summers: I DON'T NEED PROTECTION!

Tessa: For now, you don't. But in the future.....

Summers: AND YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MY FUTURE!

Tracy: I know enough. I know you are still part of our family. And that's all that matters to me, Summers.

*The overwhelming multitudes of emotions swimming through Summers over the recent events finally boils over and Summers erupts at Tracy....*

Summers: NONE OF THAT MATTERS, TRACY!

Tracy: I thought we were FAMILY, Summers?

Summers: NOT ANYMORE!

Tracy: WHAT?! How can you say that, Summers?

Summers: HOW?! YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW?!

Tracy: I just want the truth, Summers.

Summers: YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

Tracy: Try me.

Summers: I....It....I just....FORGET IT! I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT!

*The distraught Summers now storms off quickly, leaving the living room of the Galloway house in anger. Summers now exits the house as Tracy yells at her....*

Tracy: SUMMERS! WAIT, COME BACK! SUMMERS!

*Summers now slams the door behind her in the face of Tracy. The upset Tessa now catches up to the distraught Tracy and tells her....*

Tessa: Let her go, Tracy. She just needs time alone to process everything.

Tracy: But I am worried about her, momma.

Tessa: I am too, Tracy. But she has to figure this out on her own.

Tracy: I understand.

Tessa: Good. Just watch over her, Tracy.

Tracy: I will.

Tessa: From a safe distance though, no need to startle or upset her again. Cause I fear things are only gonna get worse for here on out.

Tracy: Right.

Tessa: And she's gonna need you more than ever before. Promise me, Tracy. Promise to always protect your sister no matter what happens. No matter how dangerous or life threatening the situation becomes, you MUST protect her.

Tracy: I promise. In fact, I would give my life for her.

Tessa: Just pray it never comes to that, Tracy.

Tracy: I do. Every single night, I do.

Tessa: Good. So now let's look towards the future. And only one thing is for certain.

Tracy: And what's that, momma?

Tessa: The future is bright and wide open.

*Tracy now smiles to herself and tells her mom.....*

Tracy: Like the ocean.

*Tess just nods her head in agreement and both women now stare out the front window and towards the distance ocean, thinking of their lives, their future, most importantly, about Summers. The girl who came from the ocean and changed their lives and their future forever. For the better.*

Re: FATHOM

*The story now continues about an hour later with Summers arriving at what appears to be a beach house on the outskirts of Fourside.*

Fourside Beach - Outskirts of Fourside

*Summers now walks up the steps towards the front door. Summers now takes a deep breath, before knocking on the door. After a few moments, the front door opens and Franky Sharkton is now seen standing there. The surprised Franky now tells Summers....*

Franky: Summers? This is a surprise.

Summers: Hey, Franky. Can I come in?

Franky: Sure thing, kid. What is this all about?

Summers: I need to talk to you about something. I have no one else to turn to right now.

Franky: I understand. Come on in.

Summers: Thank you so much.

*Summers now enters the home of her former coach, Franky Sharkton. Franky then shuts the door behind her.

A FEW HOURS LATER....

*Franky Sharkton opens the front door to his house and finds Tracy Galloway standing there. Tracy now immediately asks Franky....*

Tracy: Where is my sister, Franky?

*Franky just shakes his head in disappointment and tells Tracy as he lets her into his house.....*

Franky: *sighs* Just follow me.

*Tracy nods her head and follows Franky into his house. Franky now asks her as leads her to the back porch, overlooking Fourside Beach down below it. Tracy now sees a distance figure sitting on beach, as the tide continues to wash over her repeatedly. Franky now asks Tracy....*

Franky: So how did you know Summers would be here anyways?

*Tracy just smiles and tells Franky.....*

Tracy: Call it a sister's feeling.

Franky: Are you sure about those feelings? She told me everything.

Tracy: And?

Franky: And frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. I always knew that kid was special. This just confirms it for me.

Tracy: Indeed. Are you still gonna help her?

Franky: Of course. Cause I've never really told anybody this before. But before Summers came into my life, I nothing left to live for. She gave me a purpose. A reason to live. So I owe that much to her.

Tracy: I feel the same way, Franky.

Franky: Good. So just promise me one thing, Tracy.

Tracy: And what's that?

Franky: Watch over her. She's gonna need you now, more than ever.

Tracy: *laughs to herself* You know you are the second person to tell me that today.

Franky: Cause it's the truth.

Tracy: I understand and I promise.

Franky: Good. Now go talk some sense into her.

*Franky now walks away to head back into his house as Tracy says to herself....*

Tracy: Right. Here goes nothing.

*Tracy now walks down the back porch steps and towards where Summers is sitting on the beach. As Summers sat on the beach, visible tears were now seen rolling down her cheeks as she continued to watch the tide come in and out. Tracy now walks up behind her and tells her....*

Tracy: Hey Summers.

*Summers now looks up and sees her sister standing there. She now turns back to watching the tide as she tells her....*

Summers: Hey Tracy.

Tracy: How are you doing?

Summers: I am fine, Tracy. I just needed time to think.

Tracy: I understand.

Summers: No, you don't.

Tracy: Of course, I do. You are my sister.

Summers: Not anymore.

Tracy: You still are. You always will be.

Summers: How can you say that? I am just some freak.

Tracy: Don't use the f word around me, Summers. There is only one f word you are to me.

Summers: And what's that?

Tracy: Family. You are part of the Galloway Family now. Nothing is ever gonna change that.

*Summers now begins to wipe the tears from her eyes and stand up from beach floor. She now turns to face Tracy, face to face and eye to eye. She now tells her sister....*

Summers: Really, you mean it?

Tracy: Yes, with all my heart.

*Summers and Tracy now embrace in a long hug. Summers now asks Tracy....*

Summers: So how did you find me?

Tracy: Let's just say I know my sister better than anybody else.

*Both sister now begins to walk back towards Franky's beach house. Summers now tells Tracy....*

Summers: True. But there are some things that I am still beginning to only understand now.

Tracy: Yes. But you know what?

Summers: What?

Tracy: We will face them together. Like we always have before.

Summers: Indeed. But I hear it's call now, Tracy.

Tracy: It's call? Call of what?

Summers: The call of the ocean. The tide speaks to me. It beckons me to leave.

Tracy: I understand. And if you do leave, just promise me one thing?

Summers: And what's that?

Tracy: Promise me, you will return.

Summers: Okay. I promise.

Tracy: Then I will be here waiting for your return. But before all that happens, let's just concentrate on our future.

Summers: Yes, let's do that. Together.

Tracy: Forever.

*Both sisters now embrace again, as they continue to walk up back towards the beach house. Franky is now shown making a call on his cell phone to somebody, The cell phone is now shown to say "DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY" as the origin of the call, as Franky continues watches both of them closely.*

Re: FATHOM

*The story continues with Summers and Tracy Galloway reentering the living room of Franky Sharkton's beach house. Franky is now shown still on his cell phone with the Department of the Navy, as well.*

Living Room of the Sharkton Beach House - Fourside

*Franky now finishes his call and reenters the living room to rejoins Summers and Tracy. Summers now greets him....*

Summers: Hey Franky.

Franky: Hey kid.

Summers: So who were you talking too, Franky?

Franky: Glad you asked, kid. Cause I have good news for you.

Summers: And that is?

Franky: I got you in.

Summers: Into what?

Franky: The Eagleland Naval Academy.

Summers: Seriously?

Franky: One hundred percent.

Summers: Awesome, thank you so much.

Franky: It was nothing kid. Your school records spoke for themselves.

Tracy: But what about her blood work, Franky?

Franky: They don't care about that stuff. They want the best of the best. And that's you, kid.

Summers: Aw shucks, you are making me blush.

Tracy: Franky is right though, Summers. I think you'll do well at the Naval Academy.

Summers: Just like you at the Air Force Academy.

Franky: Air Force, huh?

Tracy: Yeah, cause unlike my father, I was born to fly.

Franky: That is true. I can tell. Good luck to you both.

Summers and Tracy: Thanks, Franky.

*Both ladies now shake hands with Franky Sharkton. Both now leave the beach house, as Franky watches on.*

A FEW WEEKS LATER - Eagleland Armed Forces Depot - Fourside

*A few weeks later, Summers and Tracy Galloway are now shown arriving at the Eagleland Armed Forces Depot, along with their mother, Tessa. Both ladies are now preparing to depart down their separate paths towards the Naval and Air Force Academy. Tessa now tells both of her daughters as she helps get their luggage out of trunk of the car....*

Tessa: Well ladies, this is it. No turning back.

Tracy: I don't want to turn back anyways. I was born ready for this moment.

Summers: Me too.

Tessa: As much as I don't like it, I have to agree.

*Tessa now turns to Summers and tells her....*

Tessa: Summers, ever since you can into out lives I knew you were special.

Summers: I am not.

Tessa: Yes, you are. Special in every way possible. I could not be anymore proud to have you as my daughter.

Summers: Aw, shucks.

*Tessa and Summers now embrace in a hug. Tracy now tells Summers afterwards...*

Tracy: And I agree. You are the sister I've always wanted and nothing is ever gonna change that.

Summers: Ain't that the truth. Cause like it or not, both you guys are stuck with me, no matter what happens.

Tessa: I don't like it, I love it. Good luck and God speed, Summers.

Summers: Thanks, mom. *begins to leave* Well guys, I'll see you both on the other side.

*After Summers now leaves, Tessa now turns to Tracy and tells her...*

Tessa: Tracy, good luck at the Air Force Academy.

Tracy: Thanks, mom.

Tessa: I always knew you were going to be in the military. Even if it's not in the Navy like your father.

Tracy: My father......right.

Tessa: Tracy, don't worry about him or what he thinks. Cause I know you are gonna make your father proud no matter what.

Tracy: I don't worry about what he thinks. Cause I never met the man. Besides I was born to the fly.

Tessa: Yes, you were. So fly hard, fly fast, and fly straight.

Tracy: I will mom, thanks. And I won't forget my promise either.

Tessa: I know you won't. Cause I....

*Tessa now reaches into her pants pocket and finds something in it. Tessa now says out loud to herself....*

Tessa: SHIT!

*This startles Tracy, who now asks the worried Tessa....*

Tray: What is it, mom. You look worried about something?

*Tessa doesn't say a word and pulls out the onyx pendant that she gave Summers a few weeks ago. Tracy just shakes her head and tells her mom....*

Tracy: Well, shit indeed. Don't worry about it, mom. Give it to me, I'll make sure Summers get it.

Tessa: Good idea, Tracy. This way it guarantees you too will have to meet up at some point down the line.

Tracy: True. And believe me, I already know we will. It is almost like fate is guiding us.

Tessa: It is not fate, Tracy. It is something else. I can't explain it.

Tracy: Me neither. But that is the exciting part, isn't it?

Tessa: Yes, ever since Summers came into our lives.

Tracy: And like I said before, I promise we will never lose her either. No matter what happens.

Tessa: Thank you, Tracy.

Tracy: No thank you, mom. Thank you for everything.

*Tracy and Tessa now embrace in a hug. Tessa then hands the onyx pendant to her daughter as she tells her.....*

Tessa: Don't forget this.

*Tracy now takes the pendant, looks at it for a few moments, and then puts it around her neck. She then begins to leave as Tessa looks on, with tears in her eyes.*
